Last Sunday, November 15, Pangyao App was officially launched, it was a year after Pangyao had been created. And I got the privilege to be at the studio when Mr. Martin Turner was being interviewed at Pinoy life at RTHK radio. Mr. Martin is the co-founder of Pangyao.

And also, I met again Ms. Aileen Alonzo-Hayward for the second time around, also a co-founder of Pangyao, and she was one of the radio announcers of Pinoy life at RTHK. Mr. Ron Lacson was also there for he was also announcer like Ms. Aileen, he is also a writer and I'm his fan 🙂🙂 .

With me was Mommy Ody, a poet and founder of Horizons, a community that aims to showcase the hidden talents of migrant workers all over the world. I've got the invitation to become part of the show at Pinoy Life in connection with Pangyao App launching, for I am one of the moderators of Pangyaos, the extended community of Pangyao.

During my interview I felt too edgy, unable to express myself. I was about to cry, grasping for my next word. Suppressing the tears, I know they have noticed it. "Well, it's my first time in broadcasting studio," I just want to console myself, but the truth was I'm just really a shy type (introvert sometimes)… Luckily I got someone cheering me at the side, left and right and also at my front. 😁 There's Mommy Ody and Ms. Aileen, and also Sir Lacson and Sir Martin. This was reason why I'm into writing, to express what my lips couldn't utter. Even if my grammar sometimes needs to be corrected, I know I am able to confide my thoughts. So with this blog post I want to express, what I missed to deliver during the broadcast.

I'm Pia, one of the moderators of Pangyaos, I might say I was one of the pioneers of this community. I want to share how I became part of this. Pangyaos was created this year, I can't recall when was the time I became part of it, but we were the first mods here, my co-dime Victims.. I met Ms. Aileen at HKC, she consistently posting about their page Pangyao, it was early December, (Pangyao page was founded November 2019).

Pangyao was doing a x-mas giveaway promo and I joined several games. Then another competition has come up, it's blog writing competition, around January this year. Without second thought I immediately write my very first blog post at Pangyao.hk titled "Paint it well Pangyao". I posted it January 6; actually I already forgot when was it, luckily our newly launched app made it easier for me to check for my activities. 😅😅

After that, Ms. Aileen offered me one slot of Pangyaos mod, I excitedly replied yes. I've become part of Pangyao family – our Family turns into community. From hundreds of members into 6k plus in just a matter of year, and still counting. And our Pangyao page gained already 10k likes, hooray Pangyaos...
