PANGYAO's Blog section is a place to share stories, exchange information and let your voice be heard!
Once signed up to PANGYAO (it's free!), users can post blogs as often as they like (that's also free!); the subject of your posts is limited only by your creativity and imagination*, so follow the few simple steps below to get started!
CREATING A BLOG POST
1. Login to PANGYAO and click 'BLOGS' on the navbar; this brings you to the Blog Index page, where you can browse a list of all blog posts on the site
2. Click the '+' symbol to access the new blog form
3. Input a Blog Title and write your post in the Blog Post field. You can also add an optional image (recommended) to supplement your post
4. If you are writing a post on behalf of/in association with any businesses or organisations, you can also tag links to their profile pages in your post (provided they have already profile page on PANGYAO)**
5. Click the red 'SUBMIT' button to submit your post for review
6. Once reviewed by a PANGYAO administrator, your blog post will be posted publicly for the entire PANGYAO community to see! It will be visible both on the Homepage and the Blog Index page for increased visibility
7. Once your blog is posted, remember to share the link with your friends, who can visit and leave feedback via the Comments section and the like button!
NOTES:
* A more formal set of guidelines around blog postings will be available on the site shortly, so please bear with us! In the meantime, common sense rules apply; PANGYAO welcomes and encourages freedom of expression, but please treat others with respect, and keep it clean! ☺
Given the diverse community we are hoping to build with PANGYAO, it is recommended that blogs are posted in English to ensure they are accessible to the widest cross-section of users. However, we do acknowledge and appreciate this may not always be possible, hence posts in other languages are also permitted (please note the approval process may take slightly longer in such cases).
** PANGYAO offers both free and paid profiles to businesses and organisations, more details of which follow in the very near future. In the meantime however, if you don't see your business/organisation currently listed, please get in touch at info@pangyao.hk and we'll help you get started!
COMING SOON: Any businesses or organisations tagged in a blog post will soon be able to see these blogs listed directly on their profile pages for maximum visibility!
