A love so great shown by your embraces,

so tender and sweet the care you gave

to a noble savage once seated in the arms of Morpheus;

Who had flown in pursuit of life's promises.

What is a home without a mother?

Who will run to help you when you fall?

Or kiss you when you're ill?

Mama yours is the name of love

in my mind, soul, and heart.

Lovely Mama had fallen into the sere

Like the yellow leaf that went through the summer air

Her lullabies sojourn still plays in my ears

Though it could not rock the lady now.

Beloved mother of mine,

The echos of your laughter,

The glistens of your silver hair

and your brows that wrinkled with care,

In my heart, they will stay forever.
