Human Rights

By Melody Nadal

aka Ody Munson

Who's aware today is

human rights day?

Did you know as a human

being you got your own rights.

Some are  previlliged, other are

gravely abused .

We are all equal why some are suffering.

Life is a survival, prosperity.

A bed that is comfy.

A shelter a roof for our head.

Warm food for our tummy.

Beggars are begging alms I lost

count they are many.

Homeless on the street, in this

winter, freezing cold is such tortute

a tyranny.

Agony and cries on my radio frequency.

Echoeng whispering justice be serve have

mercy.

Where is the rights for humanity?

Is it exercised during this pandemic.

I'm trying to write, to call for attention,

I failed I'm not prolific,

my content not enoughi Im calling

for unity.

To voice out speech, food, love education

Justice, peace, hope, religion.

All needed by our nation.

Most of all adding equality and dignity.

Deprived by many, its not right.

Is it only every tenth of December,

that we remembered human rights day.

Day by day we are leaving breathing.

Let's exercise it to be everyday.

All have the right of share, fair and square.

December 10 Happy human rights day.
