Hour Glass

Another day will soon be over

I am rushing to finish my remaining tasks

Can't wait to see my bunchies

Crossing the lines to my virtual haven

Longing to hear their stories for today

Exchanging laughters and crazy giggles

Please, can I pull the hands of time?

Anxiously waiting for my happy hour

What a sight to see,

When your children are at peace with one another.

No conflicts, no misunderstandings,

Its what an absentee mother is expecting..

But I always lose my fight with time

They have flown to neverland before I come

No sweet goodnights, no butterfly kisses

Just them, sleeping soundly under the stars

If only I could beg to freeze

The sands of the hour glass to be with you, And savor your childhood a little bit more

If only I could, If only....

How i wish one day,

This precious time will wait for me.

Let me gather all my belongings.

Bringing with me the fulfillment of my hopes and dreams,

Finally i can tuck them to bed and see them geow right before my very own eyea.
