I have been there before you were born,

Preparing for the things you'll be needing.

You are not mine, yes it's true.

You are not from my womb,

I didn't deliver to you either.

In my heart, you are a daughter of mine,

A precious gem that I will take good care of.

You've grown up incredibly fast,

Beautiful and sweet little angel you've become.

You loved me sending you to playschool,

Learning kids songs we used to sing.

Sleepless and stressful nights we're paid off,

Watching you every day in six years of my life.

Suddenly, your mother's attitude changed,

Being you neared me she has never been approved.

Screaming of things not really understandable,

Changing her personality never stops.

The home has never been good as before,

Decided to resign earns my depression.

I don't want to leave you,

I will definitely miss you.

Seeing those tears from your eyes,

Hugging so tight, you never stop.

Whispering Goodbye to you,

Is really a difficult thing to do.

I step out and closed the door,

Crying out so loud, never care for neighbors to hear.

It's hard to go, leaving you my not born child.

I really dream for us to meet again.
